Setting Your Lineup: Invalid lineups
Any lineup that remains invalid after the lineup deadline will score zero points!
A lineup will be deemed invalid for any of the following reasons:
- The number of players at any one position exceeds the maximum allowed at that position.
- The total number of players exceeds the maximum allowed.
- The sum of the players' salaries exceeds the salary cap.
- The lineup was somehow submitted or altered after the lineup deadline.
An incomplete lineup—one that does not have a player set for every lineup slot—is not considered invalid.
A team that advances from one round to the next could have its lineup invalidated at the start of the new round when the system adjusts the players' salaries. For example, if the salary of one of your players increases, it could put you over the salary cap for the next round. It is your responsibility to check your team's lineup before the lineup deadline of every round to make sure your lineup complies with the rules!
